The American School of Lutherie, founded by Charles Fox in 1993, offers a comprehensive guitar making and repair program for stringed instrument makers of all levels. More than 35 courses are offered in 2002, including intensive hands-on guitar building courses, master classes with some of the world's leading luthiers, and professional training seminars focused on special aspects of instrument design, building, finishing and marketing.
